Bringing New Life to a Waco Landmark
Alpha Omega opened in June 2016 and is located in Waco's historic downtown district. In the 50's, the original building was a transmission shop. When we purchased the building, the roof had caved in and only the exterior walls were standing. After investing hard work and time, the building was transformed to its original style with a long narrow design.
Where the Kitchen Is Part of the Experience
Alpha Omega's kitchen is visible from the seating area, allowing guests to experience the food being prepared. The two gyro machines positioned in the middle of the kitchen allows guests to see the classic Mediterranean meat preparation style. Fresh bread, pastries and gelato made daily will entice customers to try a variety of classic and updated Mediterranean dishes.

With our self-serve style, you're free to choose the perfect drink to complement your meal — whether it's a chilled longneck beer or a smooth glass of wine. Enjoy your gyro and sides at your own pace, inside our cozy dining area or outside on the patio, with a view of the iconic Alico Building lights setting the mood. It’s casual, comfortable, and full of flavor.
